About

ABOUT
|
At the heart of our philosophy is the idea that children don’t need endless toys or constant activity. They need grounding. They need beauty. They need thoughtfully chosen tools that support their nervous systems, spark their inner creativity, and invite self-regulation, without overwhelming their senses.
Intentional Objects for Embodied play
Our weighted balls, sensory cubes, and calm corners are not just functional, they’re beautiful. Designed to sit quietly within your home, these pieces integrate seamlessly into daily life, offering children the regulation they need while preserving the visual and energetic calm of your space.
Less Clutter, More Connection
Fewer, purposeful tools create more room for what really matters:
• Deeper focus
• Authentic creativity
• Emotional safety
• Nervous system resilience
When we remove the excess, we create space for presence and for children to return to themselves, again and again.
MISSION_
To nurture a generation of calm, kind, and self-aware children by equipping parents with beautiful, sensory-supportive tools that invite presence, regulation, and connection.
VISION_
A world where children grow up emotionally grounded, where caregivers feel empowered and attuned, and where home is a sanctuary for nervous system peace.

FOUNDING SISTERS
Pauli White & Lara Kruger
Pauli White – a loving (often overwhelmed) mom with messy hair, a restless imagination, and a deep sensitivity to the world.
Kalm Kind began as her brainchild- born from the raw, unfiltered moments of parenting a sensitive child, and from her own nervous system crash in her mid-twenties.
After years of pushing through overwhelm, Pauli found herself unraveling- until she began to relearn something as simple and profound as breath.
It was there she discovered that regulation isn’t a luxury- it’s a lifeline. And that the sooner we learn to work with our nervous systems, the safer, kinder, and more connected our lives become.
With a background in architecture and an intuitive design sensibility, she promotes calming environments and tools that speak directly to the body and soul of the child.
Pauli brings vision, lived experience, and deep reverence for the inner world of children to the heart of Kalm Kind.
Lara Kruger – a grounded (fiercely passionate) clinical psychologist with a quiet strength, a thoughtful mind, and a heart attuned to the unspoken.
She joined Pauli in building Kalm Kind with clinical wisdom and a steady, relational presence.
Lara supports children, families, and professionals with care, clarity, and compassion- ensuring the work remains both emotionally attuned and evidence-informed.
Together, they hold Kalm Kind with imagination and integrity- a sisterhood shaped by storms, softened by breath, and rooted in the belief that calm can be taught, one small moment at a time.
